About the Division

Toon Division is a group devoted to Disney's "Bonkers," an animated series that ran on the Disney Afternoon show back in the 90's. It's the story of a toon bobcat named Bonkers, and how he went from being a beloved TV star to Hollywood's first animated police officer! In fact, his initiation as a cop began his precinct's "toon division," hence the name of the group.

Here, you will probably run into Lucky Piquel, Chief Kanifky, Sgt. Grating (watch out, he's cranky. A certain orange feline sat a whoopy cushion on his chair this morning), Miranda Wright, Fall Apart Rabbit, Fawn Deer, Jitters, Toots, and of course, that certain orange feline, Bonkers D. Bobcat.

Villians and various other characters are sure to make an appearance too so keep on the lookout!

The main purpose for Toon Division is to have fun with Bonkers and Company, whether it's fanfiction, fanart, comics, or any other idea that strikes your fancy.


Joining the Toon-Division

We ask that you please send us a note concerning your interest in joining and not leave a comment on the main page for the simple fact that notes come directly to our inboxes and comments on the main page do not. We don't want to overlook you on accident!

Division Rules of Conduct

It is expected that you respect the artists and moderators of this divison. No snide remarks or degrading comments are to be directed at anyone for any reason. Violation of this rule will result in dismissal.
However, constructive critisism is perfectly fine, so long as it is constructive.

Division Submissions Protocol

When it comes to submitting your work, we ask that:

It be kept to a PG-13 rating. (Same goes for any fanfiction or comics.)

It be sent to our e-mails as an attachment and with Toon-Division Submission as the subject heading.

If you want a specific description displayed with your work please include it in the e-mail.

Fanfiction must have paragraphs, punctuation, and a spell check run at least once! Script format is perfectly fine but the rule for punctuation and spelling still stands.

If your fanfic is already on the web and you'd just like us to put up a link, by all means give us the address!

Concerning fan characters, as of now, they will be allowed, but if they prove to cause problems for the group, they will no longer be an option.

Please keep canon characters as the main focus and fan characters as the icing on the cake!

Division Ranks and Promotions Protocol

Once you have joined you will automatically be set up in the category of Civilian. Depending on how active you are in the club, you will be able to move through the ranks at your own pace, ultimately becoming an Inspector. It's up to you to earn your promotions!
